Kuwait, January 18th 2018 - Cadillac Alghanim reaffirmed its strong and long-term commitment to Kuwait at the 2018 Kuwait Motor Show in 360 Mall by displaying Cadillac premium models including a limited edition Escalade, as well as the CTS-V as a hero car in the stand, ATS, CT6 and the crossover XT5.
With its participation in this year's edition of Kuwait Motor Show 2018, Cadillac set the benchmark with its elegant display style. In addition to the performance of the UK based “Electric String Trio” , in addition to a “Selfiebox”, designed especially for Cadillac, as part of a social media competition with visitors in with a chance to win shopping vouchers, creating further excitement at the stand. As a result, Cadillac’s stand received unprecedented attention as hundreds visited the stand, with guests from different ages were keen to explore Cadillac's unique line-up.
The exhibition opening ceremony was attended by a number of royal delegates, ambassadors of Kuwait, and VIP guests.Exhibition visitors had the opportunity to explore some of the latest models from Cadillac including the ATS, CTS, CT6, XT5, with the CTS-V taking center stage modeled in Vector Blue, the latest color option in Kuwait. Visitors interested in purchasing a vehicle are also able to avail special promotions solely at the exhibition.
Also displayed at the stand was the limited edition Escalade 2018, coming with a host of added details and signature cues making a big statement on any road. The flagship model has long defined spacious luxury driving, with its modern design, powerful capabilities and sumptuous amenities that keep luxury firmly in the driver’s seat, with the 2018 model also featuring a new 10-speed automatic transmission for an even smoother ride.
The CT6 and XT5 already benefit from Cadillac’s new styling approach, and new 2018 models from both ranges are on show. The CT6 has all the size, prestige and technology of a large luxury sedan, while offering the driving dynamics and efficiency of a mid-size sport sedan. The XT5 combines spacious luxury and high-tech convenience features to create the perfect crossover.
For show goers looking for an adrenaline rush, Cadillac’s performance models will also be on show. Bringing both luxury and power in one machine, the Cadillac CTS-V super sedan is the third generation of the acclaimed luxury performance sedan, powered by a supercharged 6.2L V-8 engine SAE certified at 640 horsepower (477 kW) and 630 lb-ft of torque (855 Nm).
